How do I program my Cox Cable remote with my Samsung DVD player / surround sound receiver? I can not find the code in the manual and the search code does not work? Any tips?

Not much you can do when not working, the search code.
Attempts to Cox, to the photo, or at least, remote update. Remotes youngest were the last set of code and work better with newer devices.
You can always a universal remote control. Make sure that you have a that a "learning" if the function should use the original remote to "teach" the universal.
