RLS can be aggravated by hormonal changes, especially if you take estrogen pills. Menopause, perimenopause, pregnancy and menstration were associated with the restless legs syndrome. In addition, a common "cause" anemia.
I have diagnosed with RLS about a year ago. My symptoms are usually not so bad, but when they explode normally occurs every night this week.
My doctor has me on requip and I work very well for me. Some people take daily to prevent the symptoms, but it is only once really get the feeling the symptoms. I get a relief of 1 / 2 hours. I'm still a little too young for the menopause (I'm 34), so I can not talk about the pregnancy, but actually exacerbated my RLS.
